SERC has performed research and development on solar photovoltaic technology, both stand-alone and integrated into solar hydrogen systems, since the lab’s earliest days. Our solar work began with the Schatz Solar Hydrogen Project and has recently taken a new direction with our efforts to develop quality assurance standards for inexpensive, small scale solar equipment destined for markets in the developing world.
