Teacher Training Workshop

• Want a hands-on working fuel cell for you and your students?

Come to the Renewable Energy and Hydrogen Teacher Training Workshop at the 2004 15th annual conference of the National Hydrogen Association (NHA) and Hydrogen Expo USA.

• Learn how fuel cells work

  Workshop participants will learn to operate SERC's Stack-in-a-Box®, as these Power of Teaching workshop participants did in July of 2001

• Build and operate your own fuel cell
• See how hydrogen and fuel cells fit into a clean, renewable energy future

          After the workshop you will:

• Receive a single-cell fuel cell kit
• Have the knowledge and materials for a hydrogen experiment that conforms to California state science standards
• Have the ability to successfully integrate renewable energy and hydrogen concepts into your curricula

In addition, you are invited to attend the opening reception of the NHA Conference and Hydrogen Expo USA (follows the workshop).

• See state-of-the-art hydrogen and fuel cell technology exhibited by major companies and research organizations
• Meet and talk to leading hydrogen business people, academics, and government officials from all over the world

Workshop Details:

• When: Monday April 26th from 3 to 6 p.m.
• Where: Renaissance Hollywood Hotel, Los Angeles, CA

• Stipend: $100.00
