SERC staff made a conscious decision years ago to increase our involvement in our local community here on California’s north coast. Humboldt County is both challenged by its isolation and blessed with an abundance of untapped renewable energy resources. We also have a wealth of individuals and organizations dedicated to improving our local energy security, giving SERC ample opportunity for collaboration.
